Matt is home!
Monday, February 25, 2013
After two weeks and 1 day, my sweet hubby is home to us. For some reason this trip seemed much longer than 2 weeks. I think it was because Enzo had a big milestone while he was gone; his two bottom teeth.
We spent the weekend being lazy and visiting with family. Here are some pictures:
This picture aso shows his puffs. Enzo has found a new love! We have to be careful with the puffs, like not to introduce them before the real food or he will reject and just want more puffs! He can't get enough of them!
We lounged around Saturday morning, Enzo is working on his crawling any chance he can get. I caught him a couple times this weekend on his hands and knees rocking, so we might be getting close!

Embrace the Camera
Thursday, February 21, 2013
I was sick yesterday, so a picture a day late will have to suffice.
The lighting and clarity is not the best. The picture was taken with my iPhone, using the CameraTimer app and edited with Instagram.
Here are a few other outtakes from this morning:
Over at The Anderson Crew, every Thursday is embrace the camera, which encourages you to get in the picture with your fam.

Not sure what took me so long, but I have just joined instagram. Love it!
I feel like it gives me permission to take 100 pictures a day and share them with everyone :).
Here are a few from the past two days. You can follow me on instagram, by clicking here.

3 Days
Tuesday, February 19, 2013
Yesterday was a company holiday for me so I had a lovely 3-day weekend with Enzo. Matt is still traveling, so it was just me and him, well and Moxie girl of course!
Here are some pictures from our 3-day weekend:
We had dinner with family on Friday night at Applebee's.
Lots of snuggle time....
The most exciting thing to happen over the weekend is that Enzo's two bottom teeth finally broke through enough to get a view. He was so hard to take a picture because he can't keep his tongue off of them!
Monday we made a visit at the Doctor's office, where he said Enzo probably never got over his cold, so he gave him a stronger dose of antibiotics. Then we went home and snuggled the rest of the day.
Hope you all had a wonderful and safe weekend!

Embrace the Camera - Valentine's Style
Thursday, February 14, 2013
So, over at The Anderson Crew, every Thursday is embrace the camera, which encourages you to get in the picture with your fam. This is so important because when you are the main photographer, you rarely get in the picture. Sometimes it makes me sad that I don't have pictures of me and Enzo like some people do.
Although these pictures will be taken by myself, I will do my best :)
Here is one from this morning. I wasn't lookimg my best and the picture wasn't very clear either, so it is what it is!

Enzo got to get his Valentine's gifts early this morning, so he could play with them at his daycare.
Hope you all have a wonderful Valentine's Day!!

7 Months Old
Tuesday, February 12, 2013
Today I am wishing I had started this blog sooner. I would have loved to do document by wonderful pregnancy with Enzo and his sweet arrival. So, a little reminiscing today as our sweet boy is 7 months old.
As a migraine sufferer, pregnancy was the best thing I have experienced as it magically cured my migraines! So, I always felt amazing. It is truly a gift to be able to grow a tiny human in your belly. Words could never express the joy.
Here is my belly just two days before Enzo arrived:
I went into labor in the wee hours of July 11th, which was Enzo's due date and our scheduled induction date. So, we headed to the hospital as planned around lunchtime. Well, Enzo was in no hurry to make his grand appearance, so we waited, and waited. This was us as we got settled in our room:
Then on July 12th at 8:30 in the morning the doctor checked me and said she felt a butt. That is right, a butt. Enzo was trying to crawl back up! So, because he was folded, I had to have an emergency c-section.
At 9:19am, July 12th, 2012 I heard the first cries of our son. Truly a miracle! He was healthy at 6 lbs 11 oz and 20 1/4 inches long.

East Texas Fun
My mom and I are originally fom East Texas, so all our extended family is down there. My mom makes a trip down about every 2-3 weeks, so Enzo and I like to join when we can.
The newest addition to the family is my cousin's daughter, Grace (one month old). So funny how quickly you forget how little they are!
This was before leaving Saturday morning. I just love this adorabe oufit from Old Navy.

First Haircut
Enzo's hair was starting to look a little straggly so we decided to give him a little trim. Mine and my mom's hairdresser has two little girls so she has experience trying to get them to be still.
This was Enzo before (he had just woken up from a nap), notice his hair is close to getting in his eyes and over his ears.
Cool onesie from Old Navy. |
This is the handsome boy with a nice clean trim:
